The Mason Roofing Story
Barry Mason worked at Steel & Tube in the 80s, where he managed and sold metal materials of all kinds – roofing included. In ’91 Barry took a new career path, moving outdoors into construction while still working with the steel he was so familiar with.
Roofing was the natural choice, using all he learnt from trade customers and his industry connections. His son Davis Mason joined him on the scaffold ten years later in 2001. Five years later, in 2006, Blair Mason joined the team. There are still more family members who help out on the big jobs too.
In 2018 Mason Roofing was split three ways from Barry’s initial ownership. Each Mason has a vested interest in the continuation and improvement of the quality and service of their business. Each owner is accountable to the others. It’s a winning formula for Mason Roofing and for our customers alike.
What We Stand For
Apart from the occasional clean, a roof is meant to perform for decades without maintenance. Over those decades, however, even minor imperfections, holes, loose screws or misalignment can lead to progressive issues that balloon into rusty replacement jobs.
Mason Roofing are all about quality roofing. Where water ingress is concerned, the details are essential. We go over and above to ensure quality – we make sure each rivet is in the right place, every gutter falls at the prescribed angle, and each corrugation in the ridge flashing is well seated.
